Log shifts and leave
Record start and finish times, breaks, custom hours, holidays and sick days. Overnight shifts are handled properly, so a late finish does not become a negative day.
Free UK shift & pay tracker
Shift Tracker UK is a free web app for UK workers. Log your shifts and leave, see your hours add up, and get a clear picture of your pay, overtime and deductions on your phone or PC. No install and no adverts.
Record start and finish times, breaks, custom hours, holidays and sick days. Overnight shifts are handled properly, so a late finish does not become a negative day.
The log viewer shows day, week, fortnight, month and year totals as colour-coded tiles, with pay-cycle overtime and an editable day view.
Set hourly rates, overtime, weekend and bank holiday rules, deductions, pension and your tax code. Every figure is worked out on the server and shown in hours and minutes.
Get a full breakdown of gross pay, overtime, leave and deductions, then export it as a PDF to compare with your payslip or keep for your records.
Import a payslip and compare it with the shifts you logged. Differences are highlighted so you can spot a missing shift or an unexpected deduction.
Your shifts live in your own account, protected by your sign-in. Payslip PDFs stay in your browser, and you can export an encrypted backup whenever you like.
If you are paid by the hour or by the shift, Shift Tracker UK gives you the record your payslip does not: bus and coach drivers, care and support workers, warehouse and retail staff, hospitality teams, NHS workers and anyone juggling overtime, rest days and unsocial hours. It is not tied to one employer or one payroll system.

Yes. You set your own rates and rules in Setup, and the log viewer and salary report apply them to the shifts you log.
Yes. Payslip Reconcile (beta) compares an imported payslip with the shifts you logged and highlights differences. It is a checking aid, not tax advice: your payslip and HMRC remain the official record.
Your shifts and settings are kept in your own account on the app's Firebase server, protected by your sign-in. Payslip PDFs stay in your browser and are never uploaded. You can export an encrypted backup at any time.
